Whether you’re an expert or new to the sport, you will be more than welcome to come and try Dragon Boating surrounded by a fun and exciting crew, with a great team spirit at Black Dragons Dragon Boat Club.

Black Dragons coaching staff work with new paddlers to help develop technique and fitness gradually to ensure optimum results. And, it doesn't cost anything to come out and train.

Training sessions will be held all year round for those who want to maintain fitness and for new paddlers to come and learn the sport. Training is held at Aquatic Reserve, Bower Road, West Lakes (click here to view map), Tuesday’s and Thursday’s at 6.00pm and Sunday’s at 9.00am.

You will thoroughly enjoy and physically benefit from training sessions, and once you get into the fun and excitement of paddling, you will want to experience the spirit of competition and camaraderie. To join as a member of Black Dragons and to compete in the race season, from around November 2007 to April 2008, the fee is approximately $160.00. This includes Dragon Boat SA registration, Black Dragons Dragon Boat Club fees, team uniform and the cost of some club functions held throughout the season.
